Funny lady Phyllis Diller was in San Diego to tape the first home video cassette on the benefits of plastic surgery. She told News 8's Bridget Asaro "it's more than a physical lift, it's a psychic lift, it's a spiritual lift–it makes you feel very much better about yourself and you change your way of living because of it, you look better, you feel better. The informational video was expected to be released in the fall of 1984 and would sell for about $39.95.
They figured…well if we can make Phyllis look good …the whole world will want this surgery…. Ha
