Can one use body hairs to implant on the forehead?
Not for the hairline, it can look un-natural. for density purposes in the back, yes that can be done.

Though it can be done, the survival rate is lower in areas that were never meant to hold and grow hair, so the result may end up see through and not match the density of the natural existing hairs. Hope this helps!

No, she had facial feminization surgery. Had her forehead shaved.

We recommend having the forehead reduction/lift first, as doing the FUE, followed by forehead reduction may affect the transplanted grafts. The transplanted area should not be manipulated surgically for at least 1 year after the FUE transplant. Hope this helps!

Good question Mimi! The harvested hairs grow where we transplant them to, not where they are taken from.. but usually there is more than enough so that it doesn’t look much different!

Typically the follicles harvest from the donor area are not DHT-sensitive, when means they are not usually prone to loss! However, this is person to person dependent, depending on their genetics, and where along the Norwood Scale they will eventually end up..

Do you think you would be able to do an 18 year olds hair transplant? Because I have this section of hair on the hairline that just doesn’t grow and hasn’t grown and I’ve tried everything.
Each hair transplant is person to person dependent, based on their degree of hair loss! It is not unheard of to do hair transplants for people that are 18 years old, however the typical recommendation is to wait until you are 25 years old to make that determination. Hope this helps! Any stem cell hair transplantation where harvesting from elsewhere isn’t needed?
We do offer stem cells and PRP procedures for hair loss as well, depends on the extent of loss.. PRP and stem cells can help preserve hair for longer, as well as make them a bit thicker, however if there is no hair remaining in the area, it will not be effective.

The hairs that are taken from the donor area, will no longer grow in the donor, but they will grow where we put it! Typically the donor area may get a little thinner after an FUE transplant, but that will depend on the number of follicles needed, and the strength of the donor, which is different from person to person..
